The Testing Center can serve as an alternate facility to proctor class exams for Pikes Peak students with extenuating circumstances, such as illness or family emergencies, which prohibit them from taking an exam during their scheduled class time. Academic Testing is provided at no-charge for registered Pikes Peak students.

In Spring 2023, the Testing Center is launching RegisterBlast (a web-based scheduling tool) to manage class/make-up exam submissions and students’ appointments.

With RegisterBlast, instructors can:

  • Submit exams once across all campuses
  • Submit one exam for multiple students to take
  • Submit exams up to four hours before the exam start time
  • Edit the Date and Times on your exam submissions
  • Edit existing exam submissions
  • Add file(s) to all previous and future exam submissions
  • Clone existing exam submissions
  • See the status of your students (no show, testing, completed, registered), and see what date they are/were scheduled

Students can make test appointments online within faculty’s test window using the scheduling links for the Centennial and the Rampart Range Campuses. Once the test deadline expires, students will not be able to schedule their exams.

Note: Test appointments are made available after the test is submitted by the instructor. If a test is not submitted, students will not be able to make a test appointment. If students don't see their exam information listed in the scheduling page, they are asked to contact their instructors.

NOTE:  If you delete an exam submission, it deletes it from the testing center's ability to see it as well. It does not delete the exam if the exam has been made live for students to register

Best Practice:  Deleting is not a good idea. Just let the testing center clear out your portal on their time schedule.

Due to limited seating, the Testing Center cannot accommodate testing for entire classes.

Exams are administered during normal Testing Center hours. Monday – Thursday 8 am – 5 pm, and Friday 9 am – 5 pm.

Exams are stopped 15 minutes prior to closing time.

Electronics are not allowed in the testing room. Unless a calculator is permitted.

Completed exams will be filed in the instructors’ folders for pick up or mailed via intercampus mail according to the exam instructions. The Testing Center cannot hand deliver tests to faculty mailboxes.

You will have access to the professor portal for the Centennial and the Rampart Range Testing Center sites. To log in and submit exams for a specific site click on the link for that campus. You will use, SSO (Single Sing On) the same credentials you use to log in to your work computer. You can bookmark these links for easy access.

Once in the professor portal, you can Change Campus from your Profile. You will also have the option to submit an exam from one site to both campuses.
