Finding your textbooks:
On the main page of our website, under "Course Materials and Textbooks," Find course Materials, and then choose their campus.

** Make sure you read any course notes available, located under each courses section heading. This provides you with more detailed instructions regarding what you need to purchase from the list of materials.**

  • REQUIRED = this item is required for the course and must be purchased.
  • RECOMMENDED = this item is not required but the instructor feels it might be helpful during the course.
  • CHOICE = you have a choice to purchase one or the other items listed, and you do not need all items. Course notes might help you decide what item you want to purchase based on your own needs or preferences.
  • RENTAL = book is rented for a lower upfront price and must be returned by the due date on your receipt to avoid non-return fees. Must be 18 to have a rental account.
  • eBook = eBooks (likely an access code) will be received via email notification once your order is processed through one of the digital content providers used by Barnes and noble – along with access instructions for the content. Many additional digital items (such as embedded textbooks and open education resources) could be accessible directly in the course - D2L.
  • Digital Delivery Fee = a fee for each eBooks purchased online or in-store. This fee is non-refundable.

Renting Is Easy...

  • When shopping for textbooks in-store, the course information tag will display a "Rental" option.
  • If you're shopping online, its even easier. Many books display a RENTAL option, along with NEW and USED options. Just pick one that's right for you!

We'll Keep You On Track

  • Register your email address with us and we'll send you reminder notices as your rental due date approaches.
  • Visit us at the end of your course or by the rental due date to return “Rental” books to avoid non-return fees. Check if we can buy your book back from you if it was not a rental.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please visit the bookstore website (ppcc.bncollege.com) to place your order. You will need your class schedule with your Course Name, Number and Section, in order to order your correct books. You can find your schedule in D2L. If you are using Financial Aid, use the Financial Aid section at checkout with your Student Number (without the letter "S") and we will process your order accordingly.

eBooks (likely an access code) will be received via email notification once your order is processed through one of the digital content providers used by Barnes and noble – along with access instructions for the content. Many additional digital items (such as embedded textbooks and open education resources) could be accessible directly in the course - D2L. Be sure to check your spam/junk-mail folders of the email used when ordering your textbooks. eBooks are on a website called YUZU which is available in the app store. It is extremely important that you have placed your order with the correct email address. You will log into YUZU with the same email address you used to place your order and you can retrieve your order on the digital library. If your email address is incorrect, you will need to contact YUZU support as the Barnes and Noble team cannot make changes to that account.

This may be because your Financial Aid funds are not available. If you do not have Financial Aid funds available, please click on the link provided in the Payment Failure Email to update your form of payment to a credit card.

Please provide your order number, name, and Phone number for us to cancel. Please note, you will receive an automated email confirming your cancellation. You will not receive a response from this email.

As soon as the bookstore receives the books on back order, you will receive a notification that your order was filled. We apologize for the inconvenience. If your textbook is an OER (Open Educational Resource) book, those books are available to you for free on D2L.

You will use the "Financial Aid" section and submit your Purchase Order (Authorization Number) starting with 339. If you do not have this number, please contact your VA counselor.
