About The Foundation



The task of the Foundation Board and Staff is vitally important—to raise awareness of the critical impact of PPSC on individuals, families and communities in the region and to generate the resources required to further enrich PPSC’s academic programs, launch new initiatives and provide scholarships for tens of thousands of deserving students.

There are multiple ways to donate to PPSC from a simple pledge to planned giving. Leave your mark and support local students and community.  Double Your Impact Announcing a campaign for $1 million of new scholarships. PPSC has been awarded $480,000 of matching scholarship grant dollars from the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI); the campaign is to raise the remaining $520,000.

The Chef Henry Trujillo Culinary Scholarship Endowed Fund

This scholarship, to honor the legacy of famed local Chef Henry Trujillio,  supports students who demonstrate culinary excellence through an exceptional work ethic, integrity, and a service mindset.

The Alyssa Katherine Mason Memorial Scholarship

Named after a former Pikes Peak Culinary student, this scholarship is particularly aimed at helping recovering addicts who have committed to a life without drugs.

Samantha Hall Surgical Tech Memorial Scholarship

Honoring Surgical Tech Samantha Hall, this scholarship has been founded to help students who share Samantha's love of healing.

For over 50 years, Pikes Peak State College has transformed lives and invigorated the economy of the Pikes Peak region by educating and training the next generation of health care professionals, business leaders, skilled trades persons, entrepreneurs, and more. PPSC has a strong track record of working with private industry, schools, and public agencies to ensure that our programs provide the right preparation to allow our students to continue on with their higher education or to enter the workforce well equipped to be effective, productive employees.

The Pikes Peak State College Foundation has designated scholarships to help support students enrolled in Center for Healthcare Education and Simulation (CHES) programs.
