Remember:

  • Applying to Pikes Peak State is free and there are no essays or tests required.
  • There is no application deadline, so you can apply anytime!*
  • It takes most students about 10 minutes to complete the online application.
  • If you've attended or applied in the past year, you are an active student and do not need to reapply.

  1. There is one Pikes Peak State admission application for all students. International students and selective admission programs have separate requirements. Contact the corresponding department for questions. 

  2. Create your own account to submit your application. Do not submit an application under another person's application account. If you are helping another person apply, please be sure to create an application account for the applicant. 

  3. If using another person's computer to complete the admission application, please check that "Auto-Fill" is turned off to ensure you input your correct information. 

  4. Select the earliest semester you would like to attend. If you decide later that you would like to attend an earlier semester, you must complete a new application. 

  5. If you have attended classes or applied within the past calendar year, you are an active student and do not need to reapply. 

    Note: This does not apply to current Pikes Peak students applying for selective admission programs (example: RN to BSN Program). If you are applying to a selective program, you must reapply.

  6. Do not create a duplicate application for the same semester. If you would like to request a change of major update or an update to your residency, please use the appropriate form:

  7. If you get stuck with the application, view the troubleshooting and frequently asked questions document. If you need assistance completing the application, connect with a Pikes Peak State Recruiter.

How to Apply

1. Create an account using your email address and create a password. Each student should create their own account.

You can log in to your account at any time to finish your application. 

2. Answer all questions to ensure your application is completed correctly. 

Skipping questions may result in an incorrect status for you. If you have questions about an application question, please contact us at admissions@pikespeak.edu or 719-502-2000.

3. Review and submit your admission application! After you submit your application, you will receive an acceptance email within one business day.

1. Log in to your account using the email address and password you created when you started your admission application. 

2. Answer all questions to ensure your application is completed correctly.

3. Review and submit your admission application! After you submit your application, you will receive an acceptance email within one business day.

Contact our main office for a password reset by emailing admissions@pikespeak.edu or calling (719)-502-2000. 

If you attended prior to 2015, you do not have an application account. Please create a new account as though you were a new student. 

No. Students must apply under their own account. 

For information on how to update or correct your residency determination, please visit our Residency Webpage. 

Please submit a change of major form with our Registrar’s Office. Submitting a new application will not update your major.
