Instructional Services at Pikes Peak State College is organized into academic divisions, each led by an Executive Dean who reports to the Vice President for Instructional Services. This collaborative leadership structure ensures coordinated delivery of high-quality educational programs across transfer pathways, career and technical education, and workforce development.
The Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Division encompasses programs in anthropology, art, communication, dance, English, history, journalism, music, philosophy, photography, political science, psychology, social work, sociology, theatre, and world languages—preparing students for transfer and meaningful careers.
AHSS DivisionThe Business, Technology, and Public Service Division encompasses programs in business, computer science, cybersecurity, culinary arts, hospitality, criminal justice, education, emergency services, fire science, and paralegal studies—preparing students for in-demand careers.
BTPS DivisionThe Division of Health Sciences encompasses programs in behavioral health, dental assisting, dental hygiene, emergency medical services, medical assisting, nursing, pharmacy technology, physical therapist assistant, radiology technology, surgical technology, and the American Heart Association Training Center—preparing students for healthcare careers.
HS DivisionThe Online Learning Division supports high-quality distance education across all programs through instructional design, faculty development, and coordination of Colorado Online course scheduling—ensuring equitable access to innovative learning experiences for students statewide.
Online LearningThe Science, Engineering and Math Division encompasses programs in biology, chemistry, engineering, environmental science, geography, geology, health and wellness, mathematics, physics, veterinary assisting, and zoo keeping technology—preparing students for STEM careers and transfer pathways.
SEM DivisionThe Division of Technical and Professional Studies encompasses programs in American Sign Language interpretation, architectural engineering, automotive technology, broadcasting, construction, drafting, diesel technology, HVAC, interior design, machining, multimedia design, and welding—preparing students for skilled trades and technical careers.
