  • Schedule a New Student Advising appointment in Navigate and select your “Primary Advisor”. If your primary advisor is not available at a time convenient to you, chose an advisor from your “Advising Team”.
  • Phone appointments and video appointments using Zoom are available.
  • If scheduling a phone appointment, make sure to give us your best phone number in the comments section of the appointment scheduler.

Make an appointment with a general advisor to get started! Schedule in Navigate by selecting "Nursing Track Degree Planning", or call 719-502-3232, or write to Advising@pikespeak.edu.

If you are using Tuition Assistance or VA Education Benefits, we recommend meeting with a Military & Veterans Programs Academic Advisor.

In an effort to provide equal time to all students, the Advising & Testing office implemented a no-show policy. This policy serves as a reminder to be respectful of limited appointment times, as advising and registration appointments are in high demand and can be particularly difficult to come by during peak registration periods.

A no-show, or missed appointment, is noted in the system if you:

  • Arrive more than 10 minutes late for an appointment
  • Don't cancel an appointment in advance, either via Navigate or an email to the advisor

After three no-shows, you will be unable to schedule another advising appointment in Navigate and will need to contact your primary advisor via email for advising appointment options.

Advisors will look at your previous test scores and transcripts to make sure you start out in the classes that are best for you. Submit your academic history before meeting with an Advisor to ensure they have all the information needed to help you build your degree plan.
