At PPSC, the engineering courses you take may be guaranteed to transfer to any four-year public institution in Colorado, and we have specific AES programs that may interest you which include courses guaranteed to transfer to specific institutions. Engineering majors interested in pursuing degrees in a specific engineering field should explore their options in the respective areas below and work with PPSC's Advising department to determine your path for the future.

PPSC Engineering Degrees, Transfer, and Course Information

There are multiple ways to pursue a degree in Engineering.  Our engineering degree assumes students are college chemistry and calculus ready.  It is very important to work with your Pathways Advisor to develop the best academic plan for where you are starting and where you are hoping to transfer.

Associate of Engineering Science – Mechanical Engineering

For students interested in transferring to the Colorado State University-Fort Collins or University of Colorado (Boulder, Denver, & Colorado Springs), you will want to complete an Associate of Engineering Science (AES) degree in Mechanical Engineering and transfer. This is the most direct path to a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at these universities.

Associate of Engineering Science - Aerospace Engineering (coming soon)

For students interested in transferring to UCCS to study Aerospace Engineering, you will want to complete an AES degree in Aerospace Engineering. This is the most direct path to a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.
