Auditions: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Sep 4–5, 2025 | Downtown Campus, Studio West 103

Run away to the woods with us! Pikes Peak State Theatre is holding open auditions for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and you're invited! Whether you’ve acted for years or never stepped on stage, there’s a spot for you here.

Auditions are open to current and former PPSC students, faculty, and staff. No experience required—just bring your curiosity and come as you are.

Audition Info:

  • Wed, Sep 4 | 4–8pm

  • Thu, Sep 5 | 4–8pm

  • Tech interviews: Thu, Sep 5 | 9–11am

  • Callbacks: Fri, Sep 6 | 12–3pm

  • Downtown Campus, Studio West 103, Mulliken Black Box

What to Expect:

Auditions will consist of readings from the script, no prep needed. If you’d like a low-pressure chance to practice a professional audition, you’re encouraged to bring a one-page acting résumé with a headshot and prepare a two-minute Shakespeare monologue.

If that feels overwhelming or you don’t know what any of that means, come anyway! Just read from the selection provided. Walk-ins are welcome!

Not an actor?

We also need help behind the scenes! If you’re interested in design, set building, tech, or ushering, sign up for a tech interview. You’re welcome to bring a résumé or photos of past work.

Content note: PG for faeries, potions, and physical comedy. Inclusive casting and gender-expansive roles.

Sign up to audition for A Midsummer Night's Dream

Performance dates are November 6 - 16, 2025.
