Criminal Justice Degree and Certificate Options

PPSC offers an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice for transfer to 4-year institutions as well as Associate of Applied Science degrees and certificates for those interested in starting and enhancing their careers in Criminal justice.

Why an Associate of Arts?
Associate of Arts degrees are designed to allow students to learn what they would during the first two years at a 4-year university while transferring all of their PPSC credits. The Statewide Transfer Agreement will allow students to transfer to a Colorado public four-year school and complete their degree with an additional 60 credit hours.

The Criminal Justice department at PPSC offers a robust Prior Learning process. Individuals who are currently P.O.S.T. certified may be eligible for up to 30 credits (half of an associate's degree) in Criminal Justice.
