Hello to all! My name is Fern, and I am the newest member of the COSI Success Team!
I’m a Colorado Springs native who recently graduated from the University of Colorado
at Colorado Springs. I have three pets – a dog named Winnie and two parrots named
Pippin and Pepe. In my free time I love to read (tell me about your favorite books!),
hang out with my pets, watch anime, or play an occasional video game. Prior to joining
the COSI Success Team, I was a math and biology tutor in the Learning Commons, so
you might have already seen me around campus.
I’m also a Pikes Peak State College and COSI alumni, so I’ve been exactly where our
COSI Scholars are and am all too familiar with the struggles students might be facing
- as a student and also as a COSI Scholar. As a coach, I hope to support students
in their endeavors at Pikes Peak State College and beyond. I look forward to getting
to working alongside everyone to help our students navigate this crazy experience
called college!
