Shazia Ali holds a Master's Degree in Music Education from Boston University and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from The Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver. In her free time, Shazia enjoys spending time with her eleven-year-old son, traveling, and exploring all that beautiful Colorado has to offer.
She is the Director of Music at First Baptist Church in Colorado Springs and performs regularly for several organizations including UCCS, Colorado Springs Conservatory, and the Denver Nature and Science Museum. Shazia is also an active member of the American Music Society and co-founder of PRISMM Arts Center, a community driven organization providing free and low-cost classes in music, dance and art.
Currently, Shazia teaches full time at Pikes Peak State College and is an adjunct professor at UCCS.
