Clinical Rotation Exchange Request

Student clinical assignments are provided in one of two methods: D2L or mCE. Students have one (1) week from clinical assignment posting to request a swap with another student. Interested students must submit the completed swap form to the clinical coordinator within 1 week of assignment posting. Afterwards, clinical assignments are firm and will not be changed except under extreme circumstances. Students experiencing extreme circumstances must meet the Retention Coordinator as soon possible after event or condition is known.

Approvals for clinical swaps are not guaranteed.

Mandatory Requirements

Students have multiple tasks to accomplish before being allowed to provide patient care in community partner facilities. Partners who do not utilize My Clinical Exchange (mCE) for approval will have tasks in Castle Branch and D2L. Ensure you keep copies of all training certificate of completions and/or dates.

Students must have all required tasks complete in Castle Branch and mCE by established deadlines in student letter. Only 1.2, 2.1, and 2.2 students will use mCE. Accounts will be created after the completion of the 1.1. semester by the clinical coordinator. Under no circumstances should students create their own mCE accounts as it interferes with properly loading clinical rotations.

Review the following documents for guidance on how to navigate mCE. If you have questions, please contact their support below.
