In-State Tuition & Online Degrees

Our military-affiliated students get in-state tuition rates, even after a move. Start anywhere, finish anywhere, especially with our degree and certificate options that you can complete fully online. This is the flexibility you need to accomplish your goals.

In-State Tuition

Even if your acceptance letter from Pikes Peak State College indicates you have been classified as a non-resident for tuition classification purposes, you may still qualify for in-state tuition rates.

Tuition and fees have a lot of factors, like online vs. on-campus classes for example. However, a 3-credit  resident (in-state) class can cost up to $1,630 less than the same class for non-residents (out-of-state). Your military affiliation could save you tens of thousands of dollars, even if you move out of state.

PPSC's tuition rate is at or below the Department of Defense rate, meaning your military education benefits could pay for all of your tuition at Pikes Peak State College.

In addition, Pikes Peak State is an approved SpouseWorks school. SpouseWorks provides funding for military spouses who are pursuing two-year degrees or certificate programs that lead to industry certification and/or licensure, and being an approved SpouseWorks school means your spouse benefits can stretch even further.

Your education should fit into your life, not compete with it. That’s why we offer a growing number of associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, and certificates that can be completed fully online. Whether you're balancing work, family, or just need a more flexible schedule, our online programs make it easier to move forward on your time and your terms.

Some programs lead to professional licensure in the field, not just a degree or certificate. For example, someone wanting to become an EMT might complete the academic program at PPSC, but they would still have to take the national certification exam to be licensed to practice as an EMT in the field. 

Students pursuing a fully online program at PPSC should check the Professional Licensure page to determine if their program leads to professional licensure, and to ensure that it meets the professional licensure requirements for their state.
