may award thousands of dollars!
The purpose of the Book Scholarship is to provide financial support to currently serving military, veteran, and dependents of active duty or veteran students with a stipend to purchase course materials (up to $300). These funds may only be used for the purchase of a single textbook or reusable course material from the PPSC Bookstore. Please Note: Awards are based upon individual student eligibility and overall program funding.
The Military and Veterans Programs (MVP) is a member of The National Association of Veterans' Program Administrators (NAVPA). PPSC students are eligible to apply for their scholarship.
Deadline to apply is typically in early October.
The Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) is pleased to offer $1,000 scholarships each year to United States Service members (active duty and veterans), spouses of Service members, and children of service members who are working towards the completion of higher education degrees, certifications, and licensures.
Deadline to apply is typically mid-October.
The National Association of Institutions for Military Education Services (NAIMES) hosts the Student Spotlight Award every year. This is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their academic achievement to the military and civilian educational community through an exploration of how the academic experience has influenced their military career.
Deadline to apply is typically mid-November.
The Military and Veterans Programs (MVP) is a member of The Colorado Advisory Council on Military Education (CO-ACME). PPSC students are eligible to apply for their scholarship. Their annual scholarships are for U.S. Military Service Members, Veterans, and their family members who are pursuing a higher education degree. Scholarship period typically opens in late fall.
The Military and Veterans Programs (MVP) is a member of The Association of Veterans
Education Certifying Officials (AVECO). PPSC students are eligible to apply for their
scholarships. The program was created to provide financial assistance covering educational
expenses for veterans, service members and their dependents.

The Student Experience & Equity office at PPSC offers Student Assistance Scholarships to help with basic needs, academic supplies, or childcare. You can apply for one type of scholarship per semester—whichever support you need most.
Students also have the opportunity to apply for the Computer Subsidy Program, to help you purchase a laptop or desktop from the PPSC Bookstore. These resources are designed to meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence.
The Colorado Community College System was recently approved to open up the Reisher Bridge Scholarship to students who are eligible but may not be enrolled in the Bridge to Bachelor’s program. This is in addition to students who are enrolled in Bridge to Bachelor’s.
There is now a website for the scholarship and an interest form is linked for students to fill this out if they are not enrolled in Bridge to Bachelor’s.
