PPSC Dance Performances

Fall for Dance 2024
(Dance Department Showcase)

When: Friday, November 22 & Saturday, November 23 at 7:30pm

Where: Centennial Campus Theater
5675 S. Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80906
Park in E Lot and enter through the East Entrance doors, next to the bus stop)

Tickets: $5 for all students, PPSC employees, seniors & military. $10 General Admission. All proceeds go to the Dance Department Excellence in Dance Scholarship. Purchase your tickets online now.

About the show: Join us for an evening of dynamic and thought-provoking dance as Pikes Peak State College presents Fall for Dance 2024, a performance exploring the intersection of technology and human connection. This year's show features pieces that delve into the impact of social media and the integration of AI, showcasing athletic, evocative movement designed to spark conversation and reflection. 

The program also includes performances from our Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Belly Dance classes, highlighting the diversity and versatility of our dancers. Don't miss this exciting fusion of art and technology on stage!

PPSC Dance Auditions

Auditions for Spring ADVANCED Dance classes

Date: Monday, December 9, 2024 and/or Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Time: 10:00 am - 12:30pm

Where: PPSC Studio West, Room 102
22 N. Sierra Madre St. Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Courses Requiring Auditions:

  • Ballet III-IV
  • Modern III-IV
  • Dance Performance I
  • Hip Hop III
  • Jazz III-IV
Details: Interested in joining one of these advanced courses for the Spring 2025 semester? Attend one of the above audition dates. No preparation is needed—just come ready to participate in a brief movement class for each of the above-listed styles.

Auditions are not required for beginning-level courses or other dance classes not listed above; you can register for those directly on your own.

You do NOT need to be a Dance major to join any of our classes. We look forward to seeing you at the auditions and dancing with you in Spring 2025!
