Pikes Peak State College's Bachelor of Applied Science program can help you open new doors in your career. The Behavioral Health BAS program has special admission requirements and an additional application.
You must have an associate degree before entering this BAS program.
Depending on the type of associate degree you have, there are a few options for getting started in this program.
You must attend a Behavioral Health information session either in person or virtually.
Submit your admission application to Pikes Peak State College. You must have a Student ID Number (S#) to apply for the Behavioral Health BAS program.
The application will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Please ensure that you have adequate time to complete this application, as only one form may be submitted. If you leave this form part way through, your progress will be lost.
To complete your Behavioral Health BAS application, email your unofficial transcripts to behavioralhealth@pikespeak.edu with your last name and “BAS application transcripts” in the subject line.
Attend a virtual or in-person behavioral health orientation in the spring or the fall. To find the next available orientation date, visit the Behavioral Health Orientation course in D2L.
To access D2L, go to myPikesPeak Portal and locate the myCourses (D2L) card on the home page. Once in D2L, you will see the orientation as an option.
Note: You will not have access to the Behavioral Health Orientation in D2L until after your BAS application has been submitted and reviewed.
You must complete the following required prerequisite and foundation courses before you can apply for the BAS program:

After all required prerequisite courses have been completed, you should apply to the Behavioral Health BAS program.
The application will be open May 10, 2025 at 8am through July 31, 2025 at 5pm. Application will be submitted electronically.
