The Pikes Peak Student Veterans Organization (SVO) is dedicated to supporting students in the transition from military to college life and to enrich
the community with veteran sponsored and patriotic events.
We work on providing resources, support, and advocacy needed for student success. We also aim to create fun, engaging and inclusive events to build community for all.
The SVO is a chapter of Student Veterans of America (SVA), a national coalition of campus veterans support groups focused specifically on improving conditions and support for student veterans.
All students are welcome to join and attend events. If you are interested in leading or becoming a member of the SVO, please see below.

I spent 6 years in the United States Army. Afterwards, I attended Clark State College, where I was the Student Senate President, President of Alpha Nu Lambda (Phi Theta Kappa), and Secretary and Newsletter Editor of the Ohio Region of Phi Theta Kappa. After I graduated from Clark State, I attended The Ohio State University until I moved to the Upper Peninsula and transferred to Northern Michigan University, where I brought a chapter of SALUTE to the University. In May 2025, I moved to Colorado Springs, and I am majoring in History.
A Marine Corps veteran who served from 2019 to 2023 and graduated high school with honors. He is currently studying business and computer science while running two small businesses and developing additional websites. An outdoor enthusiast, Jonathan enjoys spending time in nature, camping, and exploring new challenges that blend technology, entrepreneurship, and community.
A U.S. Air Force veteran. He is passionate about acoustic engineering, playing music, and exploring philosophy.
