Gina Thorne is a veteran of the Air Force and holds graduate degrees in both Sociology
and Public Administration. She is currently the Department Chair for Sociology and
has been teaching at the college level for more than 25 years. She is a certified
yoga teacher with more than 1000 hours of documented teaching, some of which has occurred
with her colleagues at PPSC.
She has been teaching at the college level for more than 25 years. Her past teaching experiences include behavioral sciences, leadership, sociology and public administration courses at the United States Air Force Academy, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and Colorado State University-Pueblo. She has also supported assessment, high impact practices and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning in her time at PPSC.
