Background

Julia Keller, PhD, has taught in higher education for eight years, two of those years were with PPSC in the PSY Department where she has taught General Psychology I & II. Before teaching in higher education, she was a special education teacher in K-12 for 17 years. She has practiced, taught, and researched mindfulness and its effects on cognition, emotion regulation, and the amelioration of reading disabilities for the past 20 years. She is the author of a book entitled, Mindful Interventions in Special Education.
