Register TodayThe RN to BSN Program offers an online completion program for licensed registered
nurses seeking to obtain their bachelor’s degree. PPSC is also now offering a dual
enrollment option, allowing current ADN students to take BSN courses. The BSN is
required by employers like these: military, federal government, public health, schools,
many local hospitals, and out of state nursing jobs. It makes you more employable
in Colorado and elsewhere, and it's necessary for advancing your career in leadership
and management or continuing your education.
PPSC Nursing RN-BSN Program Mission
The mission of the PPSC nursing RN to BSN completion program is to provide quality
education that prepares the learner to be an integral part of the nursing profession
by engaging in lifelong learning that advances nursing practice. The nursing program
is dedicated to providing our students with diverse experiences to meet the healthcare
needs of our community members.
Week Courses
Manageable 8-week courses and is transferrable within the Colorado Community College System (CCCS). This program is designed for practicing RN’s to work with your busy schedule.

Our completion program theory is 100% online with an optional success workshop prior to starting the Program (NUR 4009 and NUR 4010 require practicum hours).
Starting Dates
Start dates occure three times a year: January, May, and August
Explores professional nursing practice at the baccalaureate level. The course focuses on knowledge and understanding of the professional nursing standards and the nursing role at the baccalaureate level.
Examines current issues that nurses encounter in the health care environment including their roles and responsibilities within the nursing profession.
Analyzes concepts associated with nursing research, collection, and analysis of data with emphasis on integration of evidence-based practice within nursing. The course develops the skills for critiquing published research.
Emphasizes the ethical and legal obligations of professional nursing practice. The focus is on values clarification, ethical theory, and ethical decision-making models. Additionally, legal issues related to healthcare with be explored.

We will build on the PPSC Nursing Program reputation of graduating highly sought after students.
Program completion: At least 70% of our students will complete the program within 150% of the time of starting their first RN-BSN nursing course.
Employment Rate: At least 70% of our RN-BSN graduates surveyed will be either employed or have returned to school to complete a graduate degree.
Program satisfaction: At least 80% of program graduate survey respondents will report satisfaction with their program of study.
Employer Satisfaction: At least 90% of survey respondents will rate our graduates at “well” or better in all categories.
