Sheryl Rix, Ph.D., University of California
Sheryl is an Associate Professor of Communication Arts at Pikes Peak State College
(PPSC) in Colorado Springs, CO. As a California native and recent Colorado transplant,
Dr. Rix brought over 20 years of experience teaching Communication Studies, Business
and Gender Studies courses at all three tiers of California's higher education system
to Pikes Peak in 2021. Professor Rix is committed to co-constructing knowledge with
diverse learners to empower students to achieve their educational and occupational
goals. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to explore the natural wonders of Colorado
and loving becoming a member of the community.
