Building More Than Just a Shed

Pikes Peak State College proudly presents an opportunity to give back to those who have given so much for us. Our Building and Construction Technology students, in collaboration with the Military and Veteran Programs, have embarked on a heartwarming project - to build and donate a high-quality 8' x 8' prefabricated shed to a deserving military-affiliated student. 

About the Shed

• Crafted with Skill and Care: This isn't just any shed. It is a wood-structured, student-built project featuring a functional door, a window to let in natural light, and a sturdy metal roof. 
• Completion Date: The shed will be ready by December 10, marking the end of this semester's journey and dedication to learning building and construction skills. 
• Delivery: Our Building and Construction Technology Students plan to select a winner from a pool of applicants and gift the shed by Christmas and deliver it in January, depending on the weather.

Our applicants, comprised of active duty, veterans, and family members, have each shown incredible dedication and service. This project is a small token of our immense gratitude and respect for their sacrifices.
