COF for MVP & Dependents

Who is Eligible?

The following students utilizing benefits to attend PPSC are eligible for the Colorado Opportunity Fund (COF) - regardless of residency or lawful presence status:

  • All current and veteran military students
  • Military Dependents
  • Veterans and Readiness & Employment (VR&E) students 
Other funding programs may require COF. Please check with your program contact.

Information by Military Benefit

  • The VA will be billed for your full tuition and fees - so you may choose whether or not to accept or decline COF (and utilize it at another semester at PPSC or another institution). 
  • If you choose not to utilize COF this semester, please submit the Decline COF form as soon as possible.
    • If you choose to decline using COF, VA will be billed for the full tuition and fees. You must notify PPSC each semester of your choice to not use COF by submitting the Decline COF form.

  • You may choose whether or not to accept or decline COF (and utilize it at another semester at PPSC or another institution).
  • If you choose not to utilize COF this semester, please submit the Decline COF form as soon as possible.

  • You are required to apply for and authorize COF per VR&E policy. 

  • The DoD pays for your tuition only - and it is capped at $250 per credit hour.
  • If you decline COF, you will be responsible for paying the remaining tuition in addition to the fees already owed.
