Pikes Peak State College is stepping up its working partnership with the Pikes Peak
Workforce Center to offer free or low-cost, short skills training courses.
This training creates opportunities for unemployed or under-employed workers to retool
and for employers to outsource their training programs.
The training includes Nurse Aide, A+, Early Childhood Education, Carpentry, EMT, Agile,
and Scrum Certification, among others. They will be offered online, hybrid or in-person
at PPSC's Centennial Campus.
These all can be completed in less than eight weeks and lead to certifications in
high-demand jobs. Many of these include college credit, starting people on a path
to a college degree, or a career-focused certificate.
People can sign up for classes at ppcc.edu/training.
