Graduated Magna Cum Laude and was awarded the Presser Scholar from UNC.
Carla taught K-12 vocal and instrumental music in Karval, Colorado for 10 years during which time she founded the Karval Children's Chorale and the Eastern Colorado Elementary Honor Band. During that time, she was also a recipient of the High Plains Educator Award. Recently, Carla has been a piano accompanist for the Widefield School District, the Colorado Springs Children's Chorale, and Pikes Peak State College.
