I'm from Kalamazoo, Michigan; completed my undergraduate
degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio; gained a master's degree with a dual focus
in Composition and Rhetoric/ American Studies at Utah State University in Logan, Utah;
and have been teaching college students how to write at Pikes Peak State College for
over 20 years now.
