Chrissy has taught industry professionals on topics in marketing as a speaker for conferences and seminars for several years. Prior to that, she served as an undergraduate teaching assistant at Cornell University where she helped develop curricula, taught classes, and provided feedback to fellow undergraduate students. She has also served as a community instructor for nutrition and fitness classes as a Registered Dietitian. She joined the PPSC Business Department in Spring 2024 as a Part-Time Instructor and is currently teaching sections of Intro to Business.
Chrissy was born in South Korea, grew up in Canada and California, attended college
in New York, and has since then lived in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana before moving
to Colorado. She loves to explore the great outdoors of Colorado with her husband
and dogs.
Chrissy obtained her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nutritional Sciences with minors
in Biological Sciences and East Asia Studies from Cornell University and her Master
of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Indiana University – Kelley School
of Business. She is also a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and completed
her clinicals at University of Kentucky Hospital.
Having started her career as a registered dietitian, Chrissy worked in inpatient, outpatient, and wellness settings improving population health. After obtaining her MBA, she transitioned into a marketing career where she could make a positive impact on a much bigger scale by building better-for-you brands that consumers love. She has worked on iconic brands and startup brands alike, including Splenda, Tide, Vitafusion, First Response, Trojan, Zicam, L’il Critters, Java House, and Kori Krill Oil. She has been recognized with awards including Woman of Excellence from the Path to Purchase Institute and a CHPA Digital Marketing Award for an omnichannel campaign she led. She is currently the Director of Marketing at Kori Krill Oil (Epion Brands) and Founder of Pink Pamplemousse, a nutrition communications firm.
