Appreciation Week - November 13-17, 2023

2023 PPSC Appreciation Week

Appreciation Week at Pikes Peak State College embodies the spirit of gratitude, recognizing the tireless efforts of faculty, instructors, and staff. This inaugural week, coinciding with World Kindness Week, is a pilot initiative aimed at fostering community spirit and acknowledging the invaluable contributions of our entire team.

Activities range from Coffee with Executive Leadership, to Professional Development sessions that underscore our desire to foster learning and growth amongst our staff. The week also features Town Halls for collaborative reflection on institutional goals and leadership engagement. A donation drive for our community table fosters our ethos of community support, and culminating in an all staff lunch that symbolizes unity and shared success.

By instituting Appreciation Week, PPSC not only celebrates our dedicated employees but also strengthens the collegial bonds that are crucial for the college's nurturing environment and future growth.

Now that the week is over, we'd love to hear your feedback and suggestions for improvement:

To add an element of fun to our collective generosity, we've incorporated mystery competitions tied to these donations. The details of these contests will remain a surprise until next week.
