Colorado Springs, CO – Wednesday, August 5, 2026 –Pikes Peak State College (PPSC) and AdvanceEDU are expanding their student success partnership with a goal of connecting 180 new PPSC students to personalized coaching, career guidance, scholarship support and a community committed to helping them graduate.
The PPSC + AdvanceEDU Student Success Partnership supports eligible first-generation students receiving federal Pell Grants or funding through the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid. The fall 2026 outreach focuses on students entering or returning to PPSC in behavioral health, business and technology pathways, as well as undecided students interested in pursuing an in-demand career field.
“At PPSC, we know financial assistance alone isn't enough. When it is paired with personalized coaching and dedicated support, students are better equipped to overcome barriers, stay on track and earn the credentials that transform lives,” says Dr. Lance Bolton, President of Pikes Peak State College. “Through our partnership with AdvanceEDU, we can extend this proven approach to adult learners and in turn keep strengthening Colorado's workforce."
Students who complete the program’s onboarding process receive:
Eligible students do not need to submit a separate application. PPSC will contact selected students directly with information about attending a virtual Welcome Meeting and completing one of two onboarding options.
Students may attend an in-person Advancer Summit on Aug. 12 or Aug. 15 or complete a virtual, self-paced AdvanceEDU Seminar available Aug. 3-14. Once onboarding is complete, students are connected with their Success Coach and begin receiving ongoing support.
The partnership is designed to support students beyond the classroom by helping them address academic, financial, career and personal challenges that could affect their progress.
“At AdvanceEDU, we believe students are capable of extraordinary things when they have the right support around them.
