Pikes Peak State College supports your success by providing a wealth of resources to help you grow and succeed as a student. There are also many offerings to help inside and outside of the classroom. Student Services help you manage the many demands and challenges students to face in life and at college. Please click on the links below for more information regarding the many Student Services available to PPSC students.

Services that help you get started:

Applying and registering for classes at PPSC is a multi-step process. The Enrollment Services Offices can help sort all those steps out for you. Offices are located at all three campuses. If you can’t get to campus, call the PPSC Call Center at 719-502-2000 and receive help over the phone. 

The Testing Center is committed to providing exceptional, accessible and comprehensive testing services for Pikes Peak State College students and the surrounding community. All tests are administered under standardized conditions that are efficient, fair and secure. Testing Centers are located at all three campuses.

Explore and accomplish your goals through academic advising. Whether transferring to a four-year college or university or going directly into the workforce, the friendly advisors in the Advising and Testing Centers can help you gain the information you need to complete your degree or certificate. Academic Advising 

Earning a quality education at PPSC costs about one-third of what you would pay at other in-state four-year colleges and universities. We can help you pay for college by offering multiple types of financial aid opportunities.

The PPSC Career Services Office is committed to helping our students, faculty, and staff with resources and programs designed to foster student development, retention, and success. Career Services staff members are happy to refer students to campus and community resources. This office also facilitates career counseling and career workshops as well as numerous other student success workshops.

Our mission is to empower military personnel, veterans, and their families to achieve their academic, career, and personal goals.  We deliver quality educational opportunities to active duty, veterans, and their family members by providing efficient, effective, and relevant services contributing to student success. The MVP office staff of experienced and dedicated personnel are ready to assist our military students in utilizing their military service tuition assistance and VA education benefits as well as provide other on-site services such as military/veteran-specific advising, testing, and assistance with the enrollment process.  MVP has offices located at Fort Carson and Peterson Air Force Base where excellent services are provided to active duty students and their dependents. Our New Student Online Orientation is a series of modules, videos, and quizzes to help you begin your PPSC College Experience. You will be introduced to services and resources, learn the steps to prepare for your academic advising appointment, and shown how to select your courses!

New Student Orientation can be completed on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Students may use one of our computer labs for free. Plan to spend at least one hour completing the orientation.

The PPSC Bookstore carries all the books and supplies you will need to be successful in your classes. Visit the bookstore for textbooks, tool kits, computer accessories, PPSC apparel and gifts.

Services for your health and safety:

Our Campus Police Department employs law enforcement professionals, who have previously served on surrounding law enforcement agencies. All of our campuses have officers on site. Our officers are dedicated to making PPSC a safe and pleasant environment.

The PPSC Counseling Center specializes in mental health counseling and connecting students to community resources within the Colorado Springs community. Our counselors are licensed and certified to address school and life issues. We also have an online therapy option through BetterMynd for our students.

 If you are having a mental health emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room. If you are on a PPSC campus, call Campus Police at 719-502-2900.

PPSC wants you to have the best college experience possible. Your health and safety is our priority. However, when you feel it necessary to report a concern or complaint about your campus environment or something that you experienced or witnessed, please notify us!

The PPSC Fitness Center is committed to the idea that taking care of yourself through exercise is essential to your success. Fully equipped with cardiovascular/weight training equipment, the Fitness Center offers free access after a mandatory orientation.

We offer courses at our three main campuses, military locations and at our other learning centers, located across the Pikes Peak Region. Each campus may have different hours of operation depending on the semester.

We partner with the Community Partnership for Child Development (CPCD). CPCD programs are free to eligible families AND there are spaces available with CCAP and sliding scale fees for families who may not qualify for the Head Start programs. You can begin the application online at www.cpcdheadstart.org/enrollnow. If you have any questions, please contact us at 719-635-1536. You can also schedule an appointment to come see us.

Is the college open or closed? Pikes Peak community college strives to put your health and safety first. When the Colorado Springs area is experiencing inclement weather, the college may make the decision to close, usually by 6:30 am. During a closure for inclement weather, there are no activities and there is no access, other than for essential personnel.
