Welcome to the Summer 2025 semester at Pikes Peak State College!
The full-term semester begins on Tuesday, May 27. If you have a class that meets on Mondays, like a MWF class, remember to attend the next session on Wednesday, since the semester starts on a Tuesday.
As you begin your semester, be sure you know how to find and understand your class schedule and important dates.
Check your course information
Review your course information in myPikesPeak Portal by using an online tool called D2L. Classes may not show on D2L until the class start date.
To access D2L, log into myPikesPeak Portal and locate the MyCourses (D2L) card. Click the link for each class you are taking to view the announcement section for:
- Specific dates, locations, and times for classes with live video or face-to-face (in-person) meetings
- Instructor contact information
- Any required course materials
Review your class schedule and add more classes
To review your schedule, log into myPikesPeak Portal and locate the My Schedule card.
You have until Thursday, May 29 at 11:59 pm to register for additional classes or adjust your schedule through myPikesPeak Portal.
Full-Term Drop Date is Thursday, June 5
You have until the full-term drop date, Thursday, June 5 at 5pm if you need to drop from a class. The drop date is the last day to receive a tuition refund.
Pikes Peak will not drop you from your spring classes for non-payment. If your plans have changed and you do not plan on attending Pikes Peak, you must drop your classes before the term drop date to avoid a non-refundable bill. Watch: How to Drop Classes Video
If you are taking additional Pikes Peak State classes that are not full-term, the drop date will vary. You can find the drop date for each class in your Detailed Student Schedule.
We know you will succeed this semester!
On behalf of Pikes Peak State College faculty and staff, we wish you good luck on your academic endeavors and success in the upcoming semester!
Sincerely,
